The R80 Novelty Gum League of Nations set is a 50 card set picturing a native with the country's flag in the background and a small vignette in the background of something for which the country is known. The cards were issued in packs and also had a small cardboard box that looked like a book that would hold all 50 cards. The box was available from a redemption offer and is very difficult to obtain. There is a box and wrapper in another lot in this auction.
This lot is for a trio of R80 Novelty Gum League of Nations, all of which have been graded PSA6 EXMT to include the following subjects: #19 Egypt, #30 Japan and #36 Panama. All three are the only cards in grade with just 1-2 higher of each copy. Great clean lot that would fit in even the best of R80 sets.
