The R36 Fleer Gum Cops and Robbers set was one of Fleer's few issues of the 1930's. The cards pictured oddly named policemen and criminals and have one of what is apparently (5) different colors - beige or black, green, mauve or purple, salmon or dark pink or orange. Below the card itself, was what is known as an evidence tab. The evidence tabs are numbered 1-35 and could be redeemed for an amateur detective badge if all (35) were collected and sent to Fleer.
This lot includes a group of (4) R36 Fleer Gum Cops and Robbers, all of which have been graded by PSA with the following subjects: PSA7 NM (1 card: Bertie Bohunk), PSA6 EXMT (2 cards: Bunco Bertie and Terry the Terror) and PSA5 EX (1 card: Benny Gray). Great lot of cards in generally better condition that what are normally found for this issue. Would easily fit in a great higher grade PSA set.
