The R174 Goudey Gum World War (WWI) Gum series was issued in the hectic Goudey Gum year of 1933. The set pictures scenes from World War I and is a 96 card set. The set has two different formats--a vertical format with light orange border that is used on cards 1-48 and a horizontal format with darker orange border on cards 49-96.
This lot is for a single, high grade copy of R174 Goudey Gum World War Gum #86 "Grenade" Attack that has been graded as PSA8 NMMT. This card is POP2 with none higher. PSA has graded 289 cards from R174 with (43) achieving the PSA8 level and only one higher.
