The R19-2 Goudey series of license plates for 1937 was the second installment in the four year run for Goudey. The 1937 set is the largest set at 69 subjects. The license plates are colorful representations of the real license plates and a popular subject as witnessed by the number of different sets that Goudey and other manufacturers like Topps and Wheaties Cereal produced over the years.
This near set (62/69) is missing only seven cards to be complete. Cards in this near set average between VG and EXMT with most falling into the EX range. All card fronts and card backs have been scanned. Overall, a very clean near set in above average condition for the issue.
