The 1940's James Welch Sugar Daddy Comic Characters cards can be found in two different formats. The first format has boxes to have the character's name written in on the lower coupon part of the card with the second, tougher type being one that just says 'COUPON' in that small 3/4" section at the bottom front of the card. Famous comic characters of the 1920's and 1930's are pictured on the cards including Harold Teen, Terry & The Pirates, Moon Mullins, Gasoline Alley, Little Orphan Annie among others.
This complete set of (50) cards from the R757-1 Welch Sugar Daddy Comic Characters are largely in VG to EXMt with most being around VGEX/EX condition. Complete sets of this issue are rarely seen, so this is a great opportunity to pick up the whole set in very nice condition.
