The T42 Birds set, like many of the tobacco-era sets, was issued by many different companies in many different products. Whether it's baseball players, fish, flags or birds, sets like T42 offer a set that can be collected in so many different ways. The set totals 100 cards--50 each of two different formats--one a white border format and the other a gold border format. The card backs can be found from different manufacturers and different factories--much like the T206 baseball series of a similar time frame.
The T43 Birds set is a (30) card set--smaller than the T42's.
This mixed lot of T42/T43 cards contains backs from a number of different advertisers and the cards range from Good to EX with most being around VG/VGEX.
