The R170 card set is a (24) card set from Bradas & Gheens candy company of Louisville, KY. Much like a few other sets of the era, Bradas & Gheens must have had some type of redemption offer for returning a full set as card #19 has not been seen. That or they pulled #19 from production. The cards picture a visual picture of a solder for the respective country along with the country fag and a small blurb about the solder from that country on the front. They are numbered and identified on the front with blank backs and are die cut around the outline of the solder from about waist up to allow for folding the card back and setting it up.
This R170 Bradas & Gheens Warriors of the World near set of (23/24) cards includes (5) cards that have been PSA-Graded to include: #3 British Empire (PSA5 EX), #5 Italy (PSA6 EX-MT), #6 Russia (PSA5 EX), #7 China (PSA3 VG) and #21 Norway (PSA3 VG). The ungraded cards range in condition from Good to EXMT. A couple cards have stains on them and one card has tape on the back to stabilize the die cut area. Great set that is rarely seen. The single missing card is the elusive #19 which has yet to be seen.
