The N375 Ellis Tobacco Breeds of Dogs series is a set of (25) cards issued by Ellis Tobacco with three different brands of their cigarettes--Triplex, Bengals Cheroots and Tiger cigarettes. The cards in the set can be found with bottom front advertising for each of these three brands offering up a total of (75) different variations for the set. Arguably the most beautiful dog cards of the 19th century tobacco cards, this set is very popular with collectors.
This lot is for a single N375 Ellis Breeds of Dogs card for the subject Blood Hound. The card is in VG condition with rounded corners but no major creasing and a decent back.
