Buchner Gold Coin tobacco issued a number of sets involving policemen and the N288 series pictures police inspectors in a slightly larger format than the more prolific N284 series. The series numbers 95 subjects with some of them duplicated from the smaller format N284 series.
This single card from the N288 D. Buchner & Company Police Chiefs set pictures William C.F. Berghold and has been graded as Authentic by SGC. The card appears to have a ragged cut on the sides but the front and back are both mostly clean.
