The N233 Kinney Tobacco Transparent Playing Cards morphs together two popular things in the 1880's--playing cards and transparent or hold-to-light type ephemera. They are one of two different transparent sets that Kinney produced during the tobacco era. The cards are normal playing cards with the normal suits on them and, when held to the light, a picture will emerge within the field of the playing card.
The condition breakdown on this set runs mostly between VG and VGEX with a couple better and a few worse. The back variations are as follows in this near set: 52 Transparent Cards at top of card (26 cards), 53 Transparent Cards at top of card (10 cards) and 53 Transparent Cards at bottom of card (16 cards).
