There's not a great deal known about the R93 series of Movie Star Cards. They are very scarce, blank backed cards with no advertising of a maker on them. Burdick included them in the "R" series for candy and gum but there's no definitive proof that they belong there other than his inclusion. The cards can be found in one of two varieties. Type A, like the (4) in this lot are just normal square cards and not diecut. Type B are diecut to the shape of the geometric look at the top of the card. The set includes stars of the day from what is believed to be around 1930.
This group of four includes the following subjects: Constance Bennett, William Gargan(2) and Eleanor Powell. The cards range from VG to EX condition.
