The N284 Buchner Gold Coin set covers a number of subjects with hundreds of individual cards. The most prominent subset in the set is the cards picturing baseball players. Those total (143) cards and contain such baseball luminaries as Mike Kelly, Cap Anson, Hoss Radbourn and more Hall of Famers. The next largest subset contains (103) police inspectors--most of which patrolled the streets of New York. Also included are (31) jockeys and (48) actors and acrtresses.
This lot is for a group of (7) N284 Buchner Gold Coin Actors that have been skinned from their backs. The cards are all technically poor but are difficult cards to find in any condition. The subjects include: Mark Smith, James Haworth, Fred Leslie, Lester Wallack(with hat), Geo. C Boniface, Lester Wallack (without hat) and Lytton Sothern. In addition to being skinned, some of the cards have other obvious condition problems.
