The E226 Lowney's Chocolate Bird Studies set is a set of (25) very ornate cards that picture beautiful birds. The cards have very ornate gold borders and picture the bird in its natural habitat. The backs of the cards advertise for Lowney's Cocoa and Bon Bons. The cards are unnumbered on the back or front and have black printing on the back.
This pair of E226 Lowney's Chocolate Bird Studies cards include the Painted Bunting (PSA5 EX) and the Wood-Thrush (PSA6 EX-MT). The gold borders of these cards make high grades difficult and these are beautiful examples from the set. Both cards in this lot are POP1 and the highest graded with none graded higher.
