The N171 Goodwin Old Judge Celebrities & Miscellaneous lot includes a number of actress cards as well as cards for other celebrities. The cards are albumen photo cards adhered to heavy cardboard--similar to the N172 Old Judge baseball series that is immensely popular. The cards can be found with varying degrees of photo clarity and in varying conditions. The backs are blank and the fronts contain varying types of advertising for Old Judge--mostly at the bottom of the card.
This lot is for a single card from the N171 Goodwin Old Judge celbrities of the subject Mlle. Devillier that has been graded as PSA7 NM (MC). The card is cut tight and got the (MC) qualifier. The subject is pictured in a very ornate dress and headwork from the late 1880s.
