The N564 Playing Card set is one of the tougher sets of playing cards issued in the 1880's. The cards were issued by Gravely & Miller tobacco and advertise for Kids Plug Cut and Red Boot Long Cut. The cards were also issued by Saunders & Chambers for their Deep Run Hunt Club Pure Rye Whiskey.

This lot is for a group of playing cards advertising Kids Plug Cut and Deep Run Hunt Club Whiskey running from Ace through King. These cards are all very difficult to find even a single example so to get a group of (13) in one lot is unusual. The Kids Plug Cut cards include 2 of Diamonds, 5 of Hearts, 6 of Hearts, 7 of Diamonds, 8 of Diamonds, 9 of Spades, 10 of Spades and King of Diamonds. The Deep Run Hunt Club Cards include Ace of Spades, 3 of Spades, 4 of Diamonds, Jack of Hearts, Queen of Clubs. Condition of the cards runs the gamut from Poor to VG/VGEX.
