The N212 Kinney Sweet Caporal Actress set is one of a number of Kinney Actress sets cataloged between N210 and N214. The images in the set were used for a number of different manufacturers--most noticeably also including the American Tobacco Company--for use overseas. Card fronts on all these series are a light brown in color and some differences between series make it easier to distinguish and sort them. The first two series are numbered as well as the next series being unnumbered with thin lined borders. The last couple series have no lines around the borders and the actress name can be found either in the field of the picture or outside the field in the border.
This lot of (15) cards from the N212 series includes (6) of the much tougher Series 1 cards including the following actresses: Bertaut, Blauvelt, Elliott, Madison, Rae and Ritchie. The rest of cards in the lot are from Series 2. The overall condition of the lot is right around VGEX to EX.
