The R308-1 Orbit Gum "Tattoo" Surprise Photo set were photo paper sets developed by spitting on the paper and putting in direct sunlight. The cards were meant to be put into an album and there were 100 movie stars and approximately 60 baseball cards.
This album includes (67) cards glued into the album in a range of conditions and range of photo clarity. As is the case with this series, many of the cards found are of poor photo quality and difficult to identify. Of the (67) in this album likely 40-45 are easily identified including the following stars: Greta Garbo, Clark Gable, Lionel Barrymore, Jimmy Durante, Jackie Cooper, Wallace Beery, Buster Crabbe, Bing Crosby, George Raft, Richard Arlen, Joel McCrea, Walter Huston, Myrna Loy, Lupe Velez, John Barrymore, Buster Keaton, Dorothy Jordan, Charles Farrell, Franchot Tone and baseball player Charlie Gehringer.
