The N166 Occupations for Women (Burlesqued) is a 50 card set picturing women in different occupations--generally with tight fitting clothing and bustiers. Likely an interesting set of the late 1880's to early 1890's, the series pictures women in jobs such as Policeman, Photographer, Sailor, Scholar, Teacher and Physician, among others. Most of the photos are 'burlesqued' or putting the women in some type of pose that enhances their figures due especially to the bustiers they are in. The card fronts are colorful images on a silvery grey background. The backs of the cards can be found with advertising for either American Eagle Tobacco or Goodwin Old Judge Cigarettes.

This lot includes a lot of (4) N166 Occupations for Women cards--all from American Eagle. The cards are generally in GVG to VG condition with just some nicks and stains on the borders. The subjects in the lot include Boat Racer, Journalist, Miner and Sculptor. The set is a tough set to complete and rarely found in any large lots. Great opportunity to add these cards to a set of N166.
