The N146 Set from Duke's Tobacco are slightly larger than the N145 series but smaller than the larger, oversized Duke cards of the same timeframe. The series can be found with Duke's Mixture on the front at the bottom or with Duke of Durham. The series contains a number of politicians, actors and actresses and other celebrities of the day.
This lot is for a single copy of the Henry George subject from the N146 Duke Cigarettes Actors and Actresses that has been graded by SGC as VG-EX or SGC50. Henry George was an American political economist and journalist during the Progressive Area. His most well known economic philosophy was known as Georgism, the belief that people should own the value they produce themselves, but that the economic value derived from land (including natural resources) should belong equally to all members of society.
