The T229 Pet Cigarettes is a multi-sport card set primarily picturing boxers but also has aviators, cyclers and wrestlers. The set was issued sometime after the turn of the 20th century and is a very colorful series with biographical backs. The series was issued in California only and, as is the case with most of the other California-only issues, very difficult to locate.
This lot is for a single T229 Kopec Cigarettes of the subject W.R. Brookins that has been graded PSA4 or VG-EX. Great card from a very tough set.
