The N242 Sweet Caporal 1892 Calendar card was catalogued subsequently to the last release of the American Card Catalog but was included in the American Tobacco Cards book issued by Mitchell & Forbes. It appears to be the only year that the company issued this type of card and it is assumed, like other Kinney tobacco cards of the same format, that it was issued as an insert in packages of cigarettes.
This card has been graded by SGC as SGC60 or EX and is very clean with clean front and back. The card is a clean representation of the type and would be a great addition to a mid grade type card collection.
