This group of (4) pieces are advertising cuts for S.F. Hess tobacco from local newspapers in the late 19th century. The advertisements feature interesting line drawings and advertise for Hess' smoking or chewing tobacco. Brands like "Old Pap" and Empire State and Annie Roonie are advertised on these pieces. Each piece has some level of paper removed from the lower corners and would grade in poor condition. They are great pieces of history though--especially for the collector of S.F. Hess merchandise.
