The T111 "Toast Series" set is a 50 card set from Sultan Cigarettes. The cards measure 2-1/8" by 2-13/16" and have different printed toasts on the front of the cards. The backs of the cards have advertising for Sultan cigarettes and the Factory 171, 1st District of California. All the California issues from the late 19th and 20th century are typically difficult cards to locate and the T111 Toast Series is no different. Cards from this series are rarely seen and missing from some of the better type card sets.
This lot is for a single T111 Toast Series card #22 which boasts the toast "May we never want a friend in need, nor a bottle to give him". Great card that appears to be about VGEX with just some wear to the borders and corners. Great, tough type card that would be a welcome addition to any type card collection.
