Kinney Tobacco issued three different horse sets in a small format in the late 1880's to early 1890's. The N229 set were American horses, the N230 were English horses and the N231 set represented Great Trotting horses. The N230 cards as contained in this lot pictured English horses known for winning the bigger races in Europe--especially the English Derby.
This lot is for a single copy of the N230 Kinney Brothers English Horses of the subject Merry Hampton that is in SGC84 or NM condition. Great single card from this set for the high grade set builder or type collector.
