The R49 Interstate Gum Flags of All Nations are wrappers from sticks of gum from the Interstate Gum Company of Chicago. Although the checklist notes 72 wrappers in the series, non-sport.com checklists only (8) of the wrappers and Japan is not included in their checklist. The wrappers are extremely difficult.
This lot is for a single wrapper from the difficult series R49 Interstate Gum Flags of All Nations. This wrapper is the subject of Japan and is in EX condition and very clean. Many advanced type card collectors have an empty spot for the R49 Interstate set, so this lot could help someone check off a tough type card from that list.
