Nabisco issued the Straight Arrow Injun-Uities series with their Shredded Wheat products. The cards, measuring 4" wide by 7-5/16" tall were the dividers between layers of Shredded Wheat in the packages in the early 1950's. The cereal premiums were highly collected by children of the day and were precursors to other cereal inserts that are still used to this day. There were (4) different "Books" or sets of (36) cards. The cards are blank-backed with monotone colored fronts. Books 1 and 2 used blue printed fronts with books 3 and 4 having green printed fronts.
This Near set (30/36) is missing 5, 15, 21, 24, 25 and 28 to be complete and has (31) duplicates. The cards in the set fall largely into the VG to EX range with a few better and a few worse. The duplicates are in lower grade.
