1930's Belga Gum Pirates Lot of (3) Cards

The artwork of many of the United States tobacco and gum sets was borrowed for counterparts in other countries--either issued by the U.S. Counterpart or another company entirely. Artwork for the N2 Allen & Ginter Indians may be the most often copied artwork--being used for issues in numerous countries as late as 30 years after the fact. The 1930's artwork of many of the U.S. Gum issues also seemed to be a favorite to copy. Whether Dick Tracy or G-Men or Horrors of War, sets in other countries like Canada, France, Germany, Belgium and others pop up from time to time and are a way for collectors to extend their collection--especially for sets they love.

This lot of (3) cards employs the artwork from the Gum Inc series of Pirate Pictures. The cards are in about fair condition with what appear to be lightly clipped corners. Great lot of cards from this popular series.
