This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/25/2020
The E257 Hershey's Postcards set is a group of nearly 75 postcards grouped into about 7-8 different sets with similar graphic characteristics. The cards, for the most part, picture life around Hershey, Pennsylvania--home of the Hershey Chocolate Company.
Some of the subsets are full color, some black and white, some green tint. All are divided back postcards issued likely in the 1910-1920 timeframe. Most postally used cards are found with postmark dates in the mid 1910's. There are some series that are tougher than others and there are cards that are considered more "one off" type cards where there is a single type of that card that are generally believed to be tougher than are the ones from the different series.
This lot of (19) E257 Hershey's Postcards are from a number of different series. Eighteen of the (19) cards are not used postally and the one that is has a 1915 date. The condition of the overall group is VG to VGEX with a couple worse and a couple better.
