Canadian Chewing Gum borrowed the artwork from Schutter-Johnson for the Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis and issued them in Canada during the same 1930's time period. The cards picture nice, colorful artwork from the Tarzan story. There are 50 cards in the V256 Canadian Chewing Gum Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis set. The backs of the cards have a small narrative printed both in English on the left and in French on the right.
This lot of (17) cards from the V256 Canadian Chewing Gum Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis set are largely in GVG to VGEX condition with most being around VG. Great lot of these cards to begin a set. The card numbers in the lot include: 3, 6, 7, 15, 21(2), 23, 25, 27, 29, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 47 and 50.
