Auction #6 - October 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/25/2020
The first appearance of the Lone Ranger was on the radio in 1933. By 1939, his image was being used for advertising for many products. This lot is for a group of (14) Lone Ranger Ice Cream redemption coupons, an envelope that held 100 of the coupons for a retailer to give to customers and the premium comic book that could be had for a coupon and ten cents.
All pieces in this lot would likely be considered to be in VG to VGEX condition and are very clean. Thirteen of the fourteen coupons are printed on very thin newsprint type paper with the final coupon printed on a thinner cardboard type stock. It is the one titled "The Lone Ranger Fired". The redemption comic book is number 1 in the series. The envelope would have been given to a store proprietor to distribute to customers. Great lot of items for this very popular advertising subject.
