Buchner Gold Coin tobacco issued a number of sets involving policemen and the N288 series pictures police inspectors in a slightly larger format than the more prolific N284 series. The series numbers 95 subjects with some of them duplicated from the smaller format N284 series.
This lot is for a single N288 D. Buchner & Co Police Chiefs of the subject Captain Thomas Killea of the 22nd Precinct, New York City. The card has a severe stain at the bottom border but otherwise presents as a VG to VGEX condition card.
