The E196 Strange People set from New England Confectionery is a (24) card set issued likely in the 1920's to 1930's. The cards are small and picture native people of many countries in their native garb. The backs of the cards advertise for the New England Card Company (or NECCO) and are numbered. The backs contain a short narrative discussing the outfit for the native pictured on the front and are printed in blue ink.
This lot is a group of (2) cards from the E196 New England Confectionery company that have been graded by PSA as VGEX or "4" and include the two subjects of #10 A Burma Beauty and #18 Poland. Great lot of mid grade cards to help build a nice set or for the type grade collector.
