The E77 American Caramel Prize Fighters set is one of a few boxing sets put out in the Caramel era. The card set was crafted by American Caramel and totals (24) subjects. The set pictures boxing greats like Jack Johnson and other 'celebrities' such as Abe Attell--who was the 'fixer' for the 1919 World Series. The set is colorful and much more difficult to build than are the E75-E76 sets which were also produced by the American Caramel company.
This lot is for a single card form the E77 American Caramel Prize Fighters company for the subject Ad Wolgast that has been graded SGC50 or VGEX. The card is also pedigreed from the Charles Nagy Collection on the SGC flip. Great, clean copy of this card with bold, red printed front.
