This CDV is a silhouette bust of General Thomas as identified on the back of the CDV. From Wikipedia, "George Henry Thomas was a United States Army officer and a Union general during the American Civil War, one of the principal commanders in the Western Theater." Great, mostly clean CDV with no back marker but with light writing identifying "General Thomas Maj Gen"
