The N171 Goodwin series covers a number of celebrities, actresses and others and were issued in the late 1880's to early 1890's. The baseball and boxing figures are generally significantly more valuable but there are subjects within the non-sports figures that are even more difficult to find but don't have the level of demand.
This lot is for a single N171 picturing Mlle Baretta that has been graded PSA9 or Mint. While only 71 from this series have been graded by PSA, there are (3) that have been graded as PSA9. This is the only PSA9 of the subject with none better. Just a phenomenal card with beautiful photo clarity and a super clean back.
