The N167 Goodwin Tobacco set is one of the very earliest Goodwin Tobacco card sets and from the earlier part of the 1880's if not earlier. The cards picture actresses and other celebrities as well as baseball cards. The later are typically very difficult and worth many thousands of dollars. That you could pull a card from a tobacco card pack in the early 1880's that might be an actress or baseball player is interesting in itself but the disparity in value between the two cards just shows how supply and demand works. The actress portion of the set is of an undetermined size. The cards are sepia in tone and have blue printed backs on them.

This lot is for a pair of N167 Gypsy Queen cards in technically lower condition but with very nice eye appeal. The subjects include: Dark Curly Hair (PSA1 Poor) and Hair over Right Shoulder (PSA Authentic). Both cards have clean sepia toned fronts and complete blue-printed backs for Gypsy Queen. Both cards look to be undergraded.
