1933 was a banner year for Goudey and this set pictured scenes from World War I in a change from all their other sets of the year. The set has two distinct series with cards 1-48 being in a vertical format with a darker yellow border and cards 49-96 being in a horizontal format with a dark orange border.
This lot is for a single R174 Goudey Gum World War Gum for the subject #18 A Tank Attack that has been graded PSA8.5 or NMMT+. The card is the highest for the grade with none higher. Among all the R174 Goudey Gum World War Gum cards graded, this is the single highest example in all the Pop Reports.
