R.G. Sullivan was one of a number of smaller tobacco companies in the 1880's and their flagship product 7-20-4 had a nice following during their years. There are a couple different ACC cataloged tobacco card sets that were issued by Sullivan with the 7-20-4 advertising.
This lot is for a group of (5) different trade cards from the R.G. Sullivan tobacco company. (3) of the trade cards are from the highly collectible 1893 Columbian Exposition and picture colorful representations of buildings from the exposition including the following subjects: Administration Building, Illinois State Building and View Looking South Over the Lagoon. The Columbian Exposition cards are in VGEX to EX condition. The remaining two trade cards from R.G. Sullivan are line drawings of people talking on a new invention for the time--the telephone. These two cards are in G condition with some paper adhered to the back. Great lot.
