The N412 Set is a set of (17) known cards picturing presidents, celebrities and actresses. The cards measure 2-1/2 by 4-1/16 inches and have a glossy sepia type front picturing the subject and the backs of the cards are in black and white printing and advertise the Seal of North Carolina brand or the more difficult Lichtenstein brand. The most popular cards in the set include presidents like Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant and actress Lillian Russell.
This lot is for a single N419 Marburg Actresses and Celebrities card of the subject James Blaine. James Blaine was a long time Republican politician having held office as U.S. Secretary of State two separate times under three U.S. Presidents, U.S. Senator and was the 27th U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives. The card is in about VG to VGEX condition with just a light stain on the back and some normal corner rounding.
