The V339-9 Parkhurst Gum Operation Sea Dog is one of many Parkhurst sets issued in Canada during the 1950's. This set was issued in 1954 and pictures many different ships in perilous situations on the seas across many centuries. There are issues of War, Titanic sinking, Pirate ships and many other ships pictured in this colorful series. The front of the cards have a title in a yellow callout box in the upper left with the number in a red box in the lower right. The backs of the cards, as with many Canadian card sets, have the narrative both in English at the top and in French at the bottom of the card.
This lot of (16) cards from the V339-9 Parkhurst Gum Operation Sea Dog set are mostly in VGEX condition and pretty uniform. The set is a 50 card set.
