The Bowman Gum company issued the America Salutes the FBI set in 1949 at a time when interest in the agency would have been at it's height. The set was one of a number of smaller format card sets that Bowman issued and has only (36) cards in the set..
This lot is a group of (17) high grade copies from the 1949 Bowman America Salutes the F.B.I. series. The cards in the lot are in VG to EXMT condition, averaging mostly around EX to EX+. The numbers included in the lot are: 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 20, 22, 23, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35. This lot of (17) represents nearly half of the complete set of (36) and offers a great start to completing the set.
