The R130 Western Series is one of the many Western strip cards issued in the 1930's. It is an anonymous set issued in strips of 8 like the majority of the others. The set pictures line drawings with a yellow background title on the front and small narrative on the back with the card number. They are numbered 301-348. This set is one of the tougher sets in the Western run of strip cards. Not as difficult as the R127 Navy set of (24) but tougher than the other strip cards around it in the American Card Catalog.
This near set (37/48) is in Good to VGEX condition with the majority falling in the VG/VGEX range. The fronts and backs of the cards are mostly clean with just a few falling into the lower end of the grading spectrum. Missing 301, 302, 303, 306, 313, 314, 316, 317, 332, 335 and 339 to be complete. Duplicate cards include 307, 321, 324, 325, 331(2) 336, 342, 346, 347 and 348.
