The T175 Sweet Caporal Cigarettes Heroes of the Spanish-American War set is a (50) card set of cards featuring people involved with the Spanish-American War. The War kicked off with the sinking of the U.S.S. Maine in Havana Harbor in 1898. The war lasted from April 21 through August 13th. The set was issued on the inner slides of the tobacco packs and each inner slide had two different cards. The cards were cut from the packaging and are often found in lower condition. The grading companies will grade them but are notoriously difficult on grading.
This lot of (6) cards from the T175 Sweet Caporal Cigarettes Heroes of the Spanish-American War have been graded by PSA and include the following subjects: William McKinley PSA1.5 Fair, John W Griggs PSA2 Good, H.C. Lodge PSA2.5 Good+, Joseph Choate PSA Authentic, W.S. Schley PSA1 Poor and M.S. Quay PSA1 Poor. Great lot for the set builder.
