The T53 Hassan Cigarettes Cowboys set is a great set picturing scenes of the Wild Western U.S. and the cowboys who were famous for inhabiting it. The artworks very nice on these with clean, bright coloring. A rope border outlines the borders of the card. It is believed that a 50th card--available in a couple other versions of the series--titled "An Exciting Game" was pulled from production of the cigarette issue due to the nature of the cowboy using a gun during a card game. While there is no conclusive evidence of this, it is about the only possible explanation given the inclusion of the card subject in the other similar sets of these cards.
This lot is for a single T53 Hassan Cigarettes Cowboy Series of the subject "Heading a Stampede" that has been graded PSA6 EXMT. The card is one of two in grade with only two better.
