The T37 Turkey Red Automobile series were issued sometime after the turn of the 20th century--likely sometime in the early to mid 1910's. Automobiles were just beginning to hit their stride and this set sought to capitalize on that popularity. The cards measure 2-5/8" by 2" and have nice red printed backs on them advertising for the Turkey Red brand. The cards are from a (50) card series and are very popular with tobacco card collectors.
This near set of (48/50) cards is missing only Matheson & Pierce to be complete. The cards in the near set range from poor with corner missing to VGEX with most being in the G to GVG range. Just a great set and very popular among tobacco card enthusiasts.
