The Weissinger Tobacco company of Louisville, Kentucky issued a set of cards in the late 19th century of victorian women with instruments. The artwork is borrowed from the Buchner N286 series. The Weissinger cards can be found with the Our Flag Flake Cut and Burr Oak Brands. Twenty-three cards are known with likely more to be checklisted.
This lot of (5) different cards all advertise the "Our Flake" Flake Cut tobacco for Weissinger Tobacco company of Louisville, KY. The cards are mostly in VG to VGEX condition and very clean. This is one of the larger lots we have seen from this series.
