The 1950's Animals of the World set was issued by Topps and included 100 cards, numbered 101-200. The cards featured a wild animal against a solid color geometric shape in the background with the animals title on the front of the card and a white border. The set was intended to be the sequel to the Bring-Em Back Alive Set.
This lot is for a complete set of (18) Mary Baker Prints utilizing the same artwork as was used on the 1950 Topps Animals of the World set. The prints are 8x10 in size and have a blank back. The prints were included in an envelope and were published by Book Enterprises of New York, New York. The (18) prints are a subset of the (100) cards from the 1950 Topps Animals of the World set. The prints in this set are in VG to EXMT condition, averaging VGEX to EX. In addition to the (18) prints, there are three different cards from the 1950 Topps set to match their larger print counterparts. They include: African Elephant, Walrus and African Black Rhinoceros. The three cards are in VG to EX condition.
