The N165 Goodwin "Games and Sports Series" set is a (50) card set picturing participants in many different sports of the day in the late 1880's or early 1890's. There are cards for the sports of billiards, bull fighting, curling, cricket, fishing, lawn tennis and many more. Most importantly and the most popular cards in the set are a group of (4) baseball related cards picturing a base ball fielder, catcher, pitcher and batter as well as a card for foot ball.
This lot is for a single copy of the subject Baseball Pitcher from the N165 Goodwin "Games and Sports Series" and one of the most popular subjects from the set of (50). The card has been graded as SGC EX5 and is a beautiful example from this popular set.
