This lot of (3) Allen & Ginter Virginia Brights tobacco slide and shell packages once held cards from different series of A&G cards. These similar boxes all have "Crop of" and a four date in the upper left part of the face of the box as well as the iconic "Planter" image in the lower image of the same face. The packages in this lot are from the crops of 1885, 1886 and 1888. All three packages have both the slides and the shells intact. The 1885 box is in about VG to VGEX, the 1886 box in GVG to VG and the 1888 box in poor condition with writing and tears and parts missing. The lot of (3) packs aren't frequently see, so the lot of (3) is a nice start to a good collection of A&G packs.
