The R118 Dietz Gum Presidents set is an interesting set of faux play money issued in packages with a single piece of gum by the Dietz Gum company of Chicago, Illinois. The set totals (36) subjects along with some variations. The bills measure 2-1/4" tall by 5-14" wide and were folded in half before being placed in the wrapper with the gum.
The R118 Dietz Gum Presidents wrapper in this lot is one of (2) different wrappers from the series. The central image in this lot is of George Washington. Another variation of the wrapper exists with Franklin Delano Roosevelt as the central image. The condition of the wrapper in this lot is VGEX to EX condition and the wrapper has the normal folds but retains the bold red, white and blue imagery.
